CLASS INFORMATION

YWAM’s many ministries fit into three main categories: evangelism, training, and mercy ministry. Through these ministries, we desire to see God’s transformation in every sphere of society.
Focusing on training; we want to equip Christians to serve others thought many ministries such as street evangelism, dramas, choreographies, home building, education, linguistics, drug rehabilitation, cross-cultural ministry and many others. Every training program reflects YWAM's purpose: to know God and to make Him known.
Our schools are intensive learning programs which combine the learning of theory with practical application and have a duration of one to six months. Most have both a "study" phase and a practical application, or "outreach" phase. For many of our students the intensive learning combined with community-living, often with fellow students from many nations, makes for a life-changing experience.
DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL (DTS): Take a leap into a deeper and more dynamic relationship with God!

This 6-month foundational course gathers people who are hungry to know God and challenges them to obey His call on their lives, is for youth-oriented, missions-minded Christians of all ages and cultures. The DTS family represents people of various ages, cultures, church denominations and life experiences. We seek to learn from one another to become all that God wants us to be.

This school is divided in two phases: the lecture phase and the outreach phase.

Lecture: The first three months focuses on a live/learn environment focusing on topics such as Nature and Character of God, Father Heart of God, Sharing the Gospel, Hearing God’s Voice, how to find your destiny and calling, and others.

Outreach:The next two months focuses on your development as you go out to the nations. Each school decides upon the outreach location through prayer during the DTS. Some of the ministries involved during this phase includes evangelism, dramas, community service, etc.

Outreach doesn't just happen during the overseas field assignment, as we practice many local outreaches during the lecture phase.
KING’S KIDS: HIJOS DEL REY
King's Kids is an international and interdenominational ministry that helps children, teens and families to grow in their relationship with God, motivating them to spread the Gospel. Our purpose is to guide children and teens to develop a Christian character so that they can became the leaders of tomorrow, in order to impact the world, making a real difference in society.
Our vision is that each child and teen would develop an intimate relationship with God based on two forms of communication: prayer and intercession. While children and teens mature in God they are more willing to assume responsibilities and develop new abilities as they grow in confidence in themselves and trust in the grace of God.

This ministry is divided into three different parts: a summer camp, weekend training and mission trip.

The summer camp is 15 days of intense training for young people between the ages of 8-20. During the training phase many life changing themes and topics are covered, including: alone-time with God, intercession, Christian character, the character of God, worship, relationships with others, Biblical worldview, etc.

Following each summer camp a group of children and teens will be selected to continue with a year-long discipleship program. The program requires that students attend weekend retreats once a month at the base.

The final phase of this training program is Mission trip, this will provide our students with the opportunity to share and minister as well as become passionate for the heart of God by seeing the need in our society. The mission trip can be national or international.

NIKO
Niko is a training program where you take risks to discover more about who God has made you to be. This is a survival camp, in which you will learn more about yourself, your strengths and weaknesses (physical, emotional and spiritual).
You will face and overcome many different trials and obstacles, will challenge your initiative, creativity, responsibility and trust. The goal is to allow growth in your relationship with God and others as you work in a team and persevere until the end.

This experience can be life-changing, helping you to face future decisions and the difficulties that life often brings. During this time people who have never met each other can become close friends by pushing together as a team to reach common goals and objectives.
